Recruiting with 360° and virtual reality

Hire Apprentices and Skilled Workers: Show Your Workplace in 360° and in a VR Headset

Candidates want to know what the work is really like before they apply. We show them with a 360° tour, a career film and a 3D job simulator. You produce once, and everything runs everywhere: in a VR headset at your career fair booth, as a 3D job simulator on a tablet, in the browser on your careers page and as short videos on social media. For companies, government agencies and public employers.

Try it yourself: 3D job simulator

Virtual Reality Without a Headset: One Company, Two Jobs

Pump P1 has failed. As an industrial electrician, you replace the motor in the workshop. As an industrial business clerk, you source the spare part in the office and see through the glass wall what your decisions do on the factory floor. Right on this page, with a mouse on your laptop or a finger on your phone or tablet, no app and no sign-up. This is how a job simulator runs on your careers page and on a tablet at your booth, and the same scene works in a VR headset.

We film once at your company. From that, we create what you need at fairs, on your careers page and on social media. Click a channel.

One shoot at your company

  • VR headsetAt career fairs

In the 360° career film, visitors stand right in the workshop or control room. Others watch along on a screen.

  • TabletAt your booth

The 3D job simulator with a task from the job, for anyone who does not want to put on a headset.

  • WebsiteOn your careers page

The tour and job simulator run on phones, tablets and laptops, without an app. All year round, and the family can watch too.

  • Social mediaBefore and after the fair

Vertical short videos from the same shoot, for Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp.

Where you meet candidates

Career fairs, careers page, skilled workers

  • A young man wearing a VR headset at the Kaufhaus STOLZ booth, next to a screen showing what he sees in the headset

At career fairs: an internship in five minutes

The VR headset draws visitors to your booth while bystanders watch along on the screen. In the 360° career film, they stand right in the workshop or control room; on a tablet, they try the 3D job simulator. Afterward, your team has a way into the conversation.

  • A website on a laptop and a smartphone side by side

On your careers page: all year round

Candidates search on their phones, and parents have a say. The tour and the job simulator run on phones, tablets and laptops, without an app. One link is enough, and the whole family can look at your company together.

  • Scene from the 360° video for RWE: two employees at their workstation on the trading floor in Essen, in front of screens with the RWE logo

For skilled workers: show where and with whom they will work

Salary is in every job ad, but the plant floor, the equipment and the team are not. A 360° tour shows them honestly, including shifts, noise and protective gear. At trade shows, it runs in the VR headset, and for candidates from abroad in additional languages.

We decide on locations, tasks and channels and talk to the apprentices who want to appear on camera.

    Result: concept and shooting plan

  3. Shoot and production

    Result: finished content

  4. Use on every channel

We embed everything on your careers page, deliver the short videos and set up the VR headsets for the fair. We take care of hosting and updates, free for the first year.

    Result: in use in recruiting

Questions about recruiting with 360° and VR

What does recruiting with 360° and VR cost?

Our packages: 360° tour with short videos from €3,400, 360° career film for VR headsets from €6,000, Career film and job simulator from €12,900. Individually, a 360° tour costs from €2,500, a 360° career film €6,000 to €15,000, a job simulator from €8,000. Short videos from the same shoot are included in every package. Running and hosting the tour or simulator in the browser may be added, from €99 per month, and the first year is free.

Which package is right for us?

It depends on where you meet candidates. If you regularly attend career fairs or visit schools, start with the 360° career film for VR headsets. If your candidates mostly search online, the 360° tour with short videos is enough to begin with. The career film and job simulator package pays off if you want both and candidates should try out a task themselves. Every package can be expanded later without a new shoot.

What does a VR headset do at a career fair?

At a career fair, dozens of booths stand side by side, and visitors decide in seconds where to stop. Someone wearing a VR headset draws attention; bystanders watch along on the screen and wait for their turn. The headset makes it easier to approach a booth, and anyone who has just experienced something has questions.

In a few minutes, visitors see what an internship day would otherwise show them: the workplace, the colleagues and the tasks. As Sönke Teichert of Isotec puts it (paraphrased, translated from German): “After the 360° video, young people know quite precisely whether the job is right for them or not. That is a good result too.”

Do candidates need a VR headset?

No. We set up the tour, the career film and the job simulator to run on phones, tablets and in the browser too, without an app. Use the VR headset where you supervise: at career fairs, school visits and open days. For anyone at the booth who does not want to put on a headset, the 3D job simulator runs on a tablet. Where needed, we adapt content for the headset or the screen.

What can a job simulator do, and who have you built them for?

In the job simulator, candidates solve a typical task from the job: set up a machine, inspect a workpiece, put a work process in the right order. Those who enjoy it can request an internship or apply right from the simulator. More jobs can be added later without rebuilding.

We have built hands-on applications for Kaufhaus STOLZ, SemiQuarz, the Arbeitswelten Rottweil, the Virtual Hanseatic Apprenticeship Fair and Pohl-Boskamp, among others. We build them to run in the VR headset, on tablets and in the browser. Where a task works differently in the headset than on a screen, we adapt the controls.

Do you build recruiting games?

Yes, as 3D job simulators. Candidates solve a real task from the job, in the browser like a game and with the same scene in a VR headset. We do not build classic 2D games. Our strength is spatial worlds in which you really see the workplace.

Why does this pay off right now?

There is no shortage of candidates, only of the right ones. In Germany in 2025, 84,400 young people did not find an apprenticeship, the highest number since 2009. Even so, every second company could not fill all its positions, and 70 percent of companies see weaknesses in how school leavers choose a career.

69 percent search for their apprenticeship on Google, 44 percent on company careers pages, and 77 percent get help from their parents. If you show what the work is really like, you reach the people who fit.

Does this replace an internship or the job ad?

No. Trying out the job yourself still makes the strongest impression, and for 70 percent, an internship is one of the most helpful steps in choosing a career. But not every candidate comes for a trial day, and not every workplace is open to visitors. A job ad lists facts but shows neither the workplace nor the colleagues.

360° content and 3D job simulators close the gap: no travel, for any number of candidates, at home with the family, and they show areas that visitors are not allowed to enter. They make people want to do the internship and bring the right ones to a trial day.

Does this work for skilled workers too?

Yes. For skilled workers, we show the workplace, equipment and team as they are, on your careers page, at trade shows and in the VR headset. For candidates from abroad, the tour is available in additional languages.

Do you work for government agencies and public companies?

Yes, for years. Our clients include the German Federal Ministry of Health, the Thuringian Ministry of Justice, Migration and Consumer Protection, the City of Bielefeld, the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, the Hamburg Port Authority, Hamburger Hochbahn (Hamburg’s public transit operator), Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB), the public broadcasters NDR and ARD, Hamburg Marketing, Hamburg Messe, Lippe Tourismus, it’s OWL and Fraunhofer.

We know your structures and ways of working, and we know that a good project can handle one more round of coordination. Clear modules and prices make comparison easy, hosting is in Germany, and the content belongs to you.

Do you build virtual apprenticeship fairs for chambers and regions?

Yes. For the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, we developed the Virtual Hanseatic Apprenticeship Fair and have been running it since September 2025. Companies present their apprenticeships there with 360° videos and job simulators. The chamber’s career orientation managers take the fair with 25 VR headsets to around 170 school classes and 25 career fairs a year, reaching around 3,500 students.

In Rottweil, the “Arbeitswelten” (Worlds of Work) combine an exhibition hall with up to 24 VR headsets. 8,000 young people in the region can explore careers there.

360° video or job simulator?

The 360° video shows people and workplaces as they are. It costs less, is finished sooner and is easy for anyone to understand, so we recommend it for fairs with many visitors. In the job simulator, candidates try out a task themselves, like a small internship.

Does this reduce apprenticeship dropouts?

So far there is no study proving this for 360° or VR. Dropouts often have other causes, such as conflicts at work. Our clients do find, however, that after the 360° video, candidates know quite precisely whether the job suits them. As Sönke Teichert of Isotec puts it, a no is a good result too, because the company and the candidate know where they stand and nobody wastes time.

How many VR headsets do I need at a career fair?

Usually one to five. If one person looks after both visitors and headsets, we recommend no more than two devices.

How much work is a 360° shoot for us?

We plan, shoot and edit. You provide a contact person, the locations and employees who are willing to appear on camera. Young people notice right away when something is staged. That is why your apprentices show their daily work, in their own words and at their own workplace.

Can we rent headsets and tablets?

Yes, for applications we have developed, with on-site support at the booth if you like.

Which positions stay open at your company?

Tell us who you are looking for, apprentices or skilled workers, and which fairs you attend. We will suggest the right package and what should run in the VR headset, on a tablet, on your careers page and on social media.
