Virtual reality for the energy industry

Show What Nobody May Enter, and Explain What Has Not Been Built Yet

Control rooms, trading floors and construction sites are closed to visitors. Planned power lines do not exist yet. In 360° and virtual reality, both become visible.

Typical tasks

Where VR helps in the energy industry

  1. Opening restricted areas

Visitors and candidates see the trading floor or the facility in 360° without disrupting operations.

  2. Explaining construction projects

Residents see in a virtual tour what is planned, online and at on-site events.

  3. Onboarding new employees

Get to know sites and processes before the first day at work.

Example: Amprion

Public participation with a virtual showroom

For Amprion, we developed virtual showrooms with 3D animations and 360° tours. They inform residents about construction projects.

Built for online events, they now also run in hybrid form: on the web and on site.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a VR project cost?

That depends on what the application needs to do. We publish prices for offers with a fixed scope: 360° video, 360° tours, 3D exhibits, showrooms and recruiting packages are listed under Packages and pricing. Custom applications such as VR training and simulations almost always start with a prototype and then grow in stages, over months or years. We quote a price as soon as we know your plans. So far we have stayed within the quoted budget on every project.

What do you want to show or explain?

Tell us about the place and the occasion. We will suggest what it could look like in 360° or VR.
