A forklift does not forgive mistakes. Learning to drive one takes practice, and that is exactly what is hard to come by on the job: the warehouse is in use, the goods are expensive, and a mistake can put people at risk. In virtual reality, all of that goes away.
Practicing in the virtual warehouse
The operator sits in the cab of a forklift and looks out into a warehouse with racks, pallets, and marked lanes. They pick up loads, maneuver through the aisles, and set the goods down. Their hands work the levers just as they would in a real vehicle.
What the training delivers
- Mistakes without consequences: A pallet that falls off a rack in VR costs nothing and injures no one. The operator still sees what happened.
- Repeat until it sticks: Every exercise can be run as often as needed, without tying up a vehicle or a warehouse.
- Practice before it counts: New operators gain their first experience before they climb into a real vehicle.
Who it is for
For logistics, retail, and industry, meaning anywhere new operators are trained on a regular basis. The training can be adapted to your own warehouse, your own vehicles, and your own rules. Learn more on our page about VR training and safety instruction.
